“Hi My name is Kelsie and I am a second year member on the Bison Dance Team at North Dakota State University! Come take this class to learn more about collegiate dance! We will dive into pom technique and work on turns and jumps with center exercises and across the floor combinations. We will also explore what it’s like to be a part of college game days. Of course at the end of class you can ask any questions you may have about dancing in college!”
You’ll get to use poms and learn a dance just like you’re on the sidelines at a game!

Dance Team Performance Class Ages 11+

Dance Studio Open House
Are you looking for your dance studio home? Come tour our space and get a chance to meet teachers and ask any questions.
Current students are welcome! Come say hello, have a snack, and get signed up for classes on site.
New and slightly used costume rummage will be open!
Creative Worship Night
Open space to spend time with Jesus in creativity!
Paint, draw, journal, sit, dance…. worship freely.
Some art supplies will be available, but limited. Feel free to bring your own!
Strong & Courageous
Based on the book “It Will Be Okay” by Lisa TerKeurst, all activities will be tied to the theme of being strong and courageous through fear and change. Story time, scripture memory, dance, canvas painting, games, and snack will be included.
Choreography Retention & Performance
Pick up and retain choreography quicker and more effectively! Dancers will explore different helpful tools as well as put them into practice with a fun combination
Identity Camp
Dance class, canvas painting, teaching on identity, and snack included for 8-11 year olds
Creative Worship Night
Open space to worship and spend time with Jesus in creativity!
Paint, draw, journal, sit, dance…. be free to worship.

Bring A Friend Dance Class
Current students bring a friend for a FREE
no-experience-needed dance class!
When: 6:00-6:40 ages 7-9, 7:00-8:00 ages 10 and older
Where: Haven Arts Collective 2415 S. Sherman Ave
Attire: Anything you can move in with socks or clean shoes
Light Up The Stage
Come and enjoy Haven’s presentation of “Light Up The Stage”!
Each class will learn a piece to perform in our annual show taking place at the Washington Pavilion.

Come to Zion Lutheran Church for Streets of Bethlehem and see some of our dancers in the Sanctuary!
Winter Showcase
Haven families are welcome to come watch their dancer in a few short pieces for our first Winter Showcase! This opportunity is only available to parents, so you will need to sign in to your parent account and register for the showcase time(s) for your student. Try to stick to a couple tickets per family so every student has someone in the crowd there for them, thank you!

Inviting women to a day of engaging with the presence of God in worship and teachings to help you grow in intimacy with Jesus
Specialty Workshop!
Choreography Retention and Performance workshop taught by Shannon Dancler including Q&A sessions, choreography, tips on choreography retention and performance, as well as learning methods to pick up choreography quicker. Ages 12+ $60/dancer. Registration by emailing shannondancler@gmail.com
Be Strong & Courageous
So many of our kids have experienced loss, change, or just worry. We want to encourage them with the truth and help them to be STRONG & COURAGEOUS even when things are scary and unsure.
This event is geared toward ages 5-7!
Open House
Students and parents, we invite you to our Fall Open House! Come and meet the teachers, see the new space, and get a preview of what classes at Haven look like from 3:00-7:00pm. We can help you take care of registration on-site with discounts available for those who pay for a full year of tuition! For 2022-2023 students, your pictures will be available at this time.
Strong Identity Day Camp
A time for encouragement, exploring artistic expression through painting, dance, and fun, while reflecting on how wonderfully each of us is created (Psalm 139!)
